Narvik town highlights
We begin with a relaxed drive through Narvik, visiting selected landmarks, viewpoints and photo locations while your local guide shares stories about the town’s history, Arctic location and importance as one of Northern Norway’s most fascinating mountain towns.
Rombaken Fjord, Rombaksveien and Langstranda
Leaving town behind, we continue towards Rombaken Fjord and follow the quiet Rombaksveien, with scenic stops overlooking the fjord, steep mountain slopes and pristine Arctic coastline. We also visit Langstranda, a peaceful beach surrounded by towering peaks and fjord scenery.
Bjørnfjell and the Norwegian-Swedish border
From the fjord, the journey continues into the Arctic mountain wilderness. As we climb towards Bjørnfjell and the Swedish border, the landscape changes from deep fjords to wide-open alpine terrain, crystal-clear lakes and rolling mountain plateaus.
Swedish Lapland views and Hålogaland Bridge
At the border between Norway and Sweden, we stop to enjoy the scenery, take photos and learn more about the area’s nature, culture and history. On the return journey, we cross the spectacular Hålogaland Bridge with panoramic views over fjords and mountains.
